Crossovers
0 products
A passive crossover divides the signal between the drivers in a system. The number of ways sets the structure, the crossover frequency sets where each driver hands over, and power handling and impedance must be read against the drivers it will feed. A network is only correct for the system it was designed for.

Frequently asked
How do I choose between 2-way and 3-way?
It follows the speaker, not the crossover. Two-way suits a woofer plus a compression driver; three-way adds a mid section and needs its own crossover points.
Does the power rating add up across drivers?
No. The rating belongs to the network and its components, and it must be compared with what each driver can take, not summed.
Can the crossover frequency be changed?
On a fixed network, no - the components define it. If a different frequency is needed it becomes a custom build; send the driver data and system requirements.
